Hotels with Hot Tubs in Portsmouth – Really?

The Brits passion for hot tubs seems to be doing nothing but growing. Many of us installing them in our gardens as part of the landscape, or even just popping the inflatable variety on the decking.

This passion is further substantiated by the rise in the number of hotels that offer rooms that include hot tubs or jacuzzi baths.  I was a little surprised to find so many hot tubs in Portsmouth hotels, right on my own doorstep.

The Clarence Hotel

This award winning luxury boutique hotel leaves no luxury to chance.  All rooms have luxury en-suite bathrooms and are decorated and furnished in top class style.  Room number 5 is fully equipped with a relaxing hot tub, a must for that special romantic break.  Take a hot tub whilst watching a movie in the most intimate version of a hot tub cinema.

Florence House Hotel

Another one of Portsmouth’s impressive boutiques hotels.  An Edwardian house restored lovingly into the ? hotel with great attention to detail.  Their superior room is complete with a luxury jacuzzi bath to while away the trials and tribulations of your day, before waking to a delicious, cooked to order full English breakfast.

G! Boutique Hotel

Probably the most funky, cutting edge hotel in Portsmouth.  Every room has a unique design from ultra modern to historical Edwardian charm.  With some rooms offering a jacuzzi bath it has got to be the perfect place to relax.  With the hotel’s “guest centred” approach, the stunning guest lounge provides the perfect place to mingle and for the evenings there is the hip cellar bar.

Innlodge Hotel

A completely different style of hotel to those already mentioned.  This is a hotel that attracts families, couples and business travellers.  It is attached to a large “local” that is famous for its pub food at affordable prices.  The hotel also caters for weddings which probably explains the recent addition of a six foot square hot tub into one of their superior rooms.  Another example of “romantic” hot tubs in Portsmouth.
