Trafalgar Wharf
Trafalgar Wharf is considered as one of the top locations for boat moorings in Portsmouth and the surrounding area. The site boasts a large drystack, easy access and 24 hour onsite security. Trafalgar Wharf is close to Portsmouth’s city centre and just 5 minutes from junction 12 of the M27, with ample parking and a number of excellent onsite facilities, Trafalgar Wharf is definitely worth a look.
Thornham Marina
Thornham just outside of Chichester is an ideal location to moor your boat. The local marina has many spaces available in their recently developed site. Thanks to the location of the Marina, it means that you can be sailing the English Channel within minutes of stepping on board. Being close to Chichester is also an added bonus as the town is known for its entertainment and shopping facilities. Thornham Marina can be found coming off of the A27 at the Emsworth exit.
Gosport
Just outside of Portsmouth you’ll find the small town of Gosport. The peninsular town is a great location to store your boat. The marina is easily accessible whether you are travelling by road or water. Once you have moored up your boat, you are a small ferry ride away from Portsmouth where you can find luxury serviced accommodation and a short bus ride from the small town of Fareham. There are multiple marinas in Gosport, but our picks would be either the Haslar Marina or Royal Clarence Yard. You can find Gosport by coming off of the M27 at Fareham and following the signs to Gosport ferry.
