It’s Time To Book A Skiing Holiday

The summer holidays are over and the kids are finally back at school. The leaves will start turning brown soon and the days will get shorter and the nights longer. To many these changes will make them sad, a sign that winter is on its way, but for some these signs mean only one thing…. It’s time to book a skiing holiday!

Skiing holidays are fantastic for friends and families alike. The crisp clean smell of the mountain air, the thrill of the chase down a red run and the feel of slipping into a nice warm hot tub at the end of the day, glass of wine in hand really can’t be beaten.  It’s these things which draw us back year on year to Meribel.

The skiing in Meribel is some of the best in the world and thanks to it being a part of the Three Valleys you don’t just have 1 resort to stick to you have three to explore. The accommodation is exceptional too. Whilst there are a number of hotels in the resort we, as a family often choose to stay in a Meribel chalet. Meribel chalets can hold anywhere from 6-16 people, more if you find the right one. With live in staff who cook and clean for you daily, as well as helping give you the best advise on what to do on which days and where to get the best equipment from or meal if you fancy a night out, what more could you ask for?
Sports-Skiing-iconDue to the popularity of Meribel however, it is imperative to book up fast so that you can get the accommodation and the travel you desire for the week you’d like to go. It is for this reason, that whist everyone else is getting down in the dumps about the changing of the seasons and the slow road towards Christmas that I am excited. For me, Autumn means booking skiing and then Winter means time for skiing.

Must dash, I have a holiday to book!
